For four-year-olds language awareness, knowledge and creativity are important, and the children begin to be interested in what is going to happen when they start school. In particular, we have books which aid language development, creativity (drawing, painting, singing, writing) and knowledge (books about numbers, letters, animals, the human body, telling the time). However, good stories are of course also important.
