Product Safety

Sandviks' products are not only meant to aid child development but also to ensure child safety. Product safety is a top priority for everyone at every level of our company and we are completely committed to making sure that our products are designed and manufactured to meet all safety requirements and are safe for children to use.

There are many international safety standards and requirements to which our products must conform. To be certain that all of our products meet all requirements, Sandviks uses an independent testing center that is in no way affiliated with our company.  They are experts in the requirements for each market and provide a very thorough evaluation.

Ethical Trade

Sandviks believes in the importance of, and makes every effort to promote, improved and favorable social conditions in our supply chain. A large share of our product portfolio is produced in China and other East Asian countries. Through daily contact, visits, sourcing reviews and exchanges of experience with other enterprises, we have come to know this part of the world well. We strive for improvement in working conditions, safety and living conditions in the factories we use and we seek to motivate our suppliers to take responsibility for their employees working environment. We genuinely feel that both parties in business should be responsible for improvements. At the same time, we want to ensure that all products sourced by Sandviks are produced in a manner that is consistent with basic ethical guidelines.

Code of conduct

Sandviks' ethical sourcing strategy involves our adoption of a “code of conduct”. This is a set of unchangeable rules for ethical behavior and minimum labor standards with which we expect our suppliers to comply. Learn more
